Creating Rhythms: Easter/Spring Season Table

A couple of months back I took part in a parenting course called “Rhythm in the Home” hosted by the wonderful Eloise of the Frida Be Mighty Blog (If you haven’t already I highly recommend checking out Eloise’s wonderful blog, the courses she has available. I’ve done three out of the four she offers, and I am starting the next one in May. I also recommend checking out Eloise over on Instagram; @mightymother_)

Inspired by the course and Eloise I decided to create a Season table in celebration of Easter (I have now removed some of the Easter bits to keep it Spring themed).

On my table I included a variety of toys, decorations and books!

The bunny wreath and egg tree were purchased from Aldi during their special buys this year! Unfortunately, they sold out very quickly!

  • The cuddly toys included are Jelly Cat Rabbits and a Disney Store Easter Minnie Mouse from 2016.
  • The bags are a rabbit Easter hunt bag from Aldi and the chick ones were gifted last year.
  • The toys on display are our Grimms 12 piece pastel tunnel, the Grimms pastel mushrooms and our Lanka Kade natural rabbit.
  • And last but not least… the books! Easter by Jane Foster, a beautiful one word picture book; Spring by Gerda Muller, another stunning, wordless picture book; Flower Fairies of the Spring by Cicely Mary Barker, I love these books filled with beautiful illustrations and poetry; We’re Going On An Egg Hunt by Laura Hughes a lovely lift the flap book; The Easter Story by Heather Amery, a children’s book based on the Christian story of Easter; and finally, National Trust: I Am The Seed That Grew The Tree: A Nature Poem For Every Day Of The Year poems selected by Fiona Waters.

As I learn more about the art of making seasons more rhythmical I hope to improve my season table set ups but for now I was very proud of this and Aoife loved it!
