If you have been following me for a little while you will know that recently I have begun to embed the seasonal changes in our home in a way that is aestically pleasing and provokes curiosity in my children!
As you can see I like to mix up the display of items with a variety of beautiful books, natural treasures and some of our wooden toys.
In this months seasonal display I have included:
- A ginormous pumpkin that Luke returned home from work with ready for Halloween!
- Some Conkers that we collected on an Autumn walk!
- Some of our wooden woodland animal Lanka Kade and Holztiger figures, and our wooden Bajo Gruffalo figures.
And finally the books… I have included…
- Moon by Britta Teckentrup
- I Am The Seed That Grew The Tree: A Nature Poem for Every Day of the Year – Compiled by Fiona Waters
- The Gruffalo by Julia Donaldson
- Owl Babies by Martin Waddel
- The Nature Year: October
- Autumn by Gerda Muller
- And finally Flower Fairies of the Autumn by Cicely Mary Barker.
I hope you have taken some inspiration from this! I will be back in a couple of weeks with our Halloween set up!
